Dysport and Botox are both types of botulinum toxin injections. Typically, Dysport results are visible within 1 to 2 days, while Botox can take up to 5 days. Clinical studies show that Dysport lasts up to 4 months. In my experience, some patients find that Dysport lasts longer than Botox and offers a more natural appearance.
Dermalfillers are small injections of gel, typically made up of hylauronic acid, that fill in wrinkles and add volume to soft tissue. You can have dermal fillers in different parts of your face: around the eye, cheeks, mouth and jawline, as well as lip fillers are administered directly into the lip tissue.
Both treatments involve injections, but botulinum toxin relaxes muscle movement that results in wrinkles while dermal fillers simply plump out and smooth wrinkles. Sometimes, these treatments are more effective when combined.
